Banking Associate

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support to management and staff of Meramec Valley Bank.  The position of Banking Associate will increase in complexity and responsibility of assignments as the individual progresses in experience, training and understanding in the various departments within Meramec Valley Bank.   This position will be involved with meaningful and challenging work assignments that relate to his/her academic and career goals and will offer opportunities to gain experience in all facets of banking.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to receive training and work experience in the following areas of banking:

Retail
Deposit Services
Accounting
Property Management
Loan Administration
Credit
Lending and Relationship Banking
Marketing
Corporate Administration

The qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree preferably in Accounting/Finance or related field from an accredited college or university.  Strong math and logic skills will be needed.  Qualified candidates need to be self-motivated, energetic and have the desire to learn.  This position also requires skills needed in a typical office environment, which includes advanced computer skills, communications skills, as well as utilization of office equipment.  The qualified candidate needs to be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook and Excel.   To read full job description click here.
